Esteban opened Tavo's Pizzeria & Restaurant in Contra Costa County in May 2007 after 25 years at Toto's Pizzeria & Restaurant. Tavo's serves Neapolitan style pizza and other Italian specialties in a family style atmosphere.  The restaurant is family owned and operated.

Using only the finest ingredients and a special pizza sauce, Esteban's commitment is to offer traditional and authentic Neapolitan style pizza. In every bite you will feel a taste of Italy. The menu offers traditional toppings such as salami, pepperoni, Italian sausage and more. Pizzas are hand-spun to the liking - thin, medium or thick. Using deck ovens, pizzas can be baked light, regular, crispy or well-done. Tavo's also offers pastas served with mouth-watering homemade sauces, lasagna, meatball and Italian sausage sandwiches, signature salads and much more. Tavo's serves a variety of beers, wines and other beverages.
